My Grandfather, Alfred O. Stephenson, worked for the New Zealand Railways from at least 1914 through approx. 1938. Is there anywhere that I can find any record of him working for the railways. He was a mechanic and boilermaker. When WWII came he was sworn in as a "special constable" at the time of the Queen Street Rioters and was later a traffic inspector. I am trying to learn more about his life and would appreciate any assistance please. Thank you Angela
