Calvin I missed your original post, but just as well, as thanks to Graham's work, I know I have a connection to James and Annie Thompson. James Thompson of Rangiora, whom I have as having died before 1907, was the father of Leslie James Thompson (1880-1971) who married my maternal great aunt Nancy/Annie Dale (1880-1967). Our branch of the Dale family lost touch with my great aunt's family when Lucy, a daughter of Leslie James and Annie, died in 2007. If there is a connection, please contact me off list.
