    1. [nz] FW: Burial Record - Mary Jane EVERETT
    2. Christine Tregonning
    3. Hello, I would like to thank everyone who responded to my query. I have found a burial at Sydenham in Christchurch which appears to be this lady although Jan has found that her death was registered in Napier. During 1904/1905 a girl by the name of May or Mary EVERETT stayed with my Great, Great Grandmother in Midhurst and attended school there. She has long been a mystery to me. My Great, Great Grandparents had a large family of 10 children and so there are other children staying from time to time that have all been accounted for. Of the 10 children there was one child Mary Jane SMALL that I was unable to trace and it seems likely that she is Mary Jane EVERETT. There is a marriage in 1891 to an Edward EVERETT (Possibly James Edward) and her age of 37 in 1913 ties in with her birth in 1875. Before I start spending money ordering certificates I thought it would help confirm without a doubt that I have the correct person. I thought that if I could tie these two people together it would help. I don' have a date of birth but if she was at school in 1904/1905 she was possibly born between 1893 and 1898. There is a Mary Ellen Ellis whose birth was registered in 1983 but I have narrowed down her birth date to 8 Sep 1897. Any ideas would be appreciated and if anyone has a Mary Ellen Ellis EVERETT in their tree that would be a bonus. She died in 1913. I am assuming at this stage it would have been in Taranaki possibly near Inglewood. Possibly she is my Great Grandfather's sister so if anyone is researching EVERETT in this area or has any information about this family it would be appreciated. Thanks for any help. Regards, Christine
