Hi listers, I have an email dated 2008 from a Sherida Sibley who told me she had a relative Leslie John PATRICK born Wellington NZ 27 Feb 1902. He married in 1923 and they had seven (7) children. He died in 1961. I am now wondering who his parents might have been as I've always wondered why my great grandparents ever went to NZ from Scotland in 1879. They lived in Dunedin NZ. My great grandparents were David and Jane PATRICK, her maiden name was WALKER, whether she had siblings living in NZ, I am not sure and maybe that's why they went there. Her siblings were all born at Bothkennar, Stirling, Scotland as was she. Their parents were Helen nee RAE and John WALKER married Jan 2 1847 James born 1848 Jane* 1849 Peter 1852 Catherine 1854 Helen (Nellie) 1856 Janet 1858 John 1860 Peter 1864 Hopefully someone has a connection, or is researching this family, so any help gratefully appreciated.
