Am doing a Cemetery Tour at 11am in Featherston at the Soldiers Cemetery WW1 and again tomorrow afternoon Armistice Day. Today is the unveiling of the sculpture in the town, am looking forward to seeing it, had a friend from Sussex the other week, who works for Imperial War Museum in London. So will be sending him photographs tonight! He was here in Wairarapa a few weeks back, and was shown all the WW1 historical sites, including the lovely Heritage Museum.. Leaving a lovely Wreath at the Obelisk in the Featherston Cemetery today in memory of the soldiers we lost.. I shall be asking for more information on any soldier who is buried at Featherston WW1 Cemetery again, as need photographs and history of the soldiers for Heritage . enquiries to my email please thank you..
