Hi all, I am trying to work out where and when a couple of photos were taken. They're obviously taken on the street. Would the photographer taken more than one of a couple? Are the copies still available anywhere? I think that they were taken either in Wellington or Christchurch/Timaru. Any suggestions please. Many thanks Sue
Give us a cloud link (dropbox, onedrive etc) to look at the photo. Also Auckland Library has a database online of photographers, where and when they were working. You probably need the photographer's name though. Bryan On 06-Nov-18 12:57:43 PM, Sue king <sueray2002@gmail.com> wrote: Hi all, I am trying to work out where and when a couple of photos were taken. Hi Thanks for the offer - Street Photos (file://LAPTOP-5VKA498C/Users/Sue/Dropbox/Street%20Photos) There is no photographer's names unfortunately. I think all three photos are street photos. I had a look at Auckland Library website but didn't have any luck. Hi Sue, That link you posted is to your own computer. We can't access that. You're using Dropbox, according to that link - that makes life really easy, as Dropbox make it simple to share links to your files and folders... Go to File Explorer and locate that file in your Dropbox folder. Then right-click on the file name, and from the menu that pops up select Copy Dropbox Link. This copies the Dropbox URL to your computer's memory, ready for you to paste into an email or anywhere else you want to share it. I've done that with a photo in my Dropbox account just now, as an example, and the link looks like this: https://www.dropbox.com/s/54b9fkt915i268n/2018-11-05%2020.45.12.jpg?dl=0 (That's a picture I took the other day of my cat.) Hope this helps. :-) Wendy On Tue, Nov 6, 2018 at 10:23 PM Sue king <sueray2002@gmail.com> wrote: > Hi > > Thanks for the offer - Street Photos > (file://LAPTOP-5VKA498C/Users/Sue/Dropbox/Street%20Photos) > > There is no photographer's names unfortunately.
