    1. [nz]A photo with 2 different peoples names . . . !
    2. Hello again. Another perplexing problem I have is with a photo that I found on the Nelson Provincial Museum online collection that is listed under the surname of SIXTUS. It is a photo of a man and a woman and a boy. Photo ID 86942. The website is https://collection.nelsonmuseum.co.nz/explore - and enter the number of the photo into the search box. This exact same photo appears in the book "The Extended Community" by George McMurty - on page 104 under the name of John and Alice BRUNING. Unfortunately George has passed away . . . so I do not know the source of the photo. I am trying to work out exactly who these folk are. Is anyone able to help me? Thanks, Beth

    3. Hi Beth I realise it is people’s names you are looking for but wondered if you noticed that the house appears to be the same one labelled ‘Albert Sixtus’ Homestead’ on p35 of the Sixtus Family Reunion book by Craig Sixtus. One of Albert’s brothers married a Brunning. Sorry I can not be more help Keep in touch Margaret > On 3/11/2018, at 11:53 AM, aotueka@xtra.co.nz wrote: > > Hello again. > > Another perplexing problem I have is with a photo that I found on the Nelson Provincial Museum online collection that is listed under the surname of SIXTUS. 3. Hi Beth I had been told a long time ago that this was not John & Alice BRUNING, but is part of a photo of Charles and Fanny BRUNING, outside the home in College St, Motueka which Fanny's father John Thomas CLARKSON (cropped out on left) built for them. (Their eldest daughter Elizabeth May married a SIXTUS, about 1897, John T CLARKSON died Aug 1893.)
