Hello - I am searching for any information regarding Johanna Josephine SCHILDHAUER, who I believe arrived in Nelson sometime in the 10 years between 1864 and 1874. She went on to marry Friedrich Heinrich Gottlieb HARTWIG. She was said to have been from Hannover in Germany - but I cannot find record of her arrival here or any other details except for her death at the age of 84 years in 1930. This puts her birth around 1846. Sadly, it is a name that is not easily spelt and records may not be exactly under her correct surname. Someone had suggested she arrived on the VIOLET but I do not have a year and cannot find her or any name that is anywhere similar on any passenger list that I have found as yet. If anyone has her in their family tree or can shed any light, I would be most appreciative. Thanks, Beth
