Trying to help a neighbour trace the history of their cottage in Rentone Street which was owned by Albert Bruce in 1876. Have found the death of Albert Bruce in 1913 at a later home but can’t find any details of his arrival in NZ or his marriage. Can anyone help? Have tried BDM for a marriage and found one in the 1850s to a Polly but the children don’t seem to match.
