A lady i know has asked me to help her find out about her mum. Her mum married a Leathley but she has no idea her maiden name. This is what i found Her Mum is Evelyn Fiona Leathley and she died in 1971 aged 46yrs my friend only a teenager so i looked at Dunedin Cemeteries and found she is buried in Andersons Bay(they are a Dunedin Family) and in that grave with her is a Edith Phyliss Keen and she died 1940 ageds 52 now i wandered if this is Evelyn Leathleys Mum? A bit more searching found Edith was a Hogg before she married a Herbert Keen in 1920. Evelyn Leathley was married to a Fredrick Leathley he died 1999 but parted when Evelyn died and i think she may have been born around 1925. Can anyone ok that single nameor anymore really appreciate its difficult as they cant tell me much on family and i live out of Dunedin so just cant get to library as much as i would like to.
