    3. Hi Jeanette & Olwyn, No 1 is a Brevet Badge, correctly identified as aircrew but not a pilot. They had a letter in the centre which indicated what position the wearer held within the crew. The sample has had the letter blacked out for some reason. The sample I have included refers to the Engineer on the crew. Others were LM - Loadmaster, N Navigator, B Bomber (WW 11) etc. The example is from the RAAF Uniform. Royal Australian Airforce but all Commonwealth badging was the same or similar. The rest may have been from a Mess Uniform but don't know which country. Hope this is of some help. Regards, Terry.
