Apparently the girls were buried at nearby Wairere Station, not Bideford Churchyard, unmarked graves, they died in a fire. John Rutherfurd had the Station in those days.. thanks to a family member who I emailed last night have given me the correct information! Now this is RUTHERFURD with two U, no O, but still related to the O one, as one U married a O off Rutherfurd!! We had in Carterton Charles Rutherfurd, still never found when and where he died, as his wife is buried at Clareville, Harriett. Thanks.
