    3. The ER I was referring to was 1928 Nelson. I think the mystery is solved. Lucy Jary was a spinster, and sister to James William. 3. Hi All, I wonder if anyone can assist? My GG Mother was a Lucy Jary who died in Nelson 6 May 1939 and was believed to have been born in 1859. I have never been able to trace her maiden name or her actual birth detail. It is possible she married James William Jary in 1880 at 4 Elliot Street, Nelson but this has never been proven. Any assistance would be most welcome. With thanks Terry

    3. It's good on this list that we can continue to add to one another's finds. Jenelle and I have each found the same articles in PapersPast- in memorium. The ancestry Tree was named Sell/Melbourne Family tree and I've just checked..there are over 64,000 people on it, covering George Austin Barker, his wife Eliza Jane nee Rogers and the many children they had. Sounds like a DNA tree! A slight correction to one of my earlier posts. Eliza Jane's parents, if this is the correct tree, were born in Camborne Cornwall, and moved to Lancashire Census 1871- his occupation was tin/iron miner. Mary Ann should be Mary Jane. His wife's name was Eliza. I am trying to find out the names of the bride's parents and any information about her. I know George died in 1937 but am not sure when his wife died. Any information greatly appreciated. 3. A bit more information- George Austin is buried at Waikumete along with his wife Eliza Jane who died 14 Nov 1960, and their baby daughter Rita Olive who died in 1903, aged 8 months. Eliza Jane was 88 when she died. This is now confirmed (year of birth abt 1872) Chris in Melbourne -----Original Message----- From: aotueka@xtra.co.nz [mailto:aotueka@xtra.co.nz] Sent: Friday, 11 October 2019 1:41 PM To: List - NZ Messages Subject: [nz]George Austin BARKER Hello - looking for information regards the marriage of George Austin BARKER in 1890 in Auckland. 3. For starters George Austin's spouse was Eliza Jane Rogers...haven't tracked her birth yet..but there are 3 deaths for an Eliza Jane Barker 1939 aged 72, 1945 aged 77 and 1960 aged 88. Do you know where George Austin was buried? 2. Thanks guys. From what I have found, I suspect that there were no marriages on board ship before she docked as Stuart says, in November 1842. It was my last hope. Much appreciate the efforts. 2. Blenheim came to NZ twice for the New Zealand Company. The 1841 marriage Olwyn mentions was after the first voyage in 1840, which arrived in Wellington on 27 December 1840 (with some of my ancestors on board). Beth was asking about the voyage to New Plymouth, which arrived there on 19 November 1842. _______________________ Stuart Park Kerikeri, New Zealand spark@xtra.co.nz  -----Original Message----- From: Olwyn Whitehouse <olwynbw@gmail.com> Sent: Friday, October 11, 2019 2:40 AM To: new-zealand <new-zealand@rootsweb.com>; aotueka@xtra.co.nz Subject: [nz]Re: BLENHEIM arrived New Plymouth 1842 No marriages listed here - a comprehensive study on the Blenheim.
