    3. I am new to this list and I would like to know if there is a list of cemeteries in Albuquerque? I just found out that one of my aunts was buried there about 1936. Thanks in advance, Thelma Heinrich

I just found out that one of my aunts was buried there about 1936. >>> The online Yahoo yellow pages lists the following three present day cemeteries: Mount Calvary Cemetery 1900 Edith Blvd NE Albuquerque, NM (505) 243-0218 Gate-Heaven Catholic Cemetery 7500 Paseo Del Norte NE Albuquerque, NM (505) 821-0800 Cemetery 9500 San Pedro Dr NE Albuquerque, NM (505) 262-1454 I have not made requests in New Mexico, but elsewhere I have just called up the cemetery and they could tell me if a person was buried there and the death date. Filmed copies of the index to the New Mexico death certificates are available for rent at local LDS Family History Centers. Index T-Z 1889-1930 Index A-Z 1931-1940 FHL US/CAN Film 1991646 Filmed copies of the death certificates are available 1889-1945. I actually do not see many listed prior to the 1920s.
