Like almost everyone else I am looking for information on my ancestors. My mother Irene Dorothy Hammett was born in Ark (Yell co), her mother (Aslee Moody Hammett) and father (Dan D. Hammett) died by 1929. My mother and her siblings went to live with her oldest brother Melvin Wesley Hammett and one of her half brothers, either William M. Hammett or Harvey Hammett. My mothers siblings are as follows: Melvin Wesley Hammett Fannie Hammett Arizona "Zonie" Hammett Isabelle Hammett Alte (Isic) Hammett Lynn Hammett Irene Dorothy Hammett Any help would be greatly apprecieated.
