The Origins of New Mexico Families comes down only to 1725 in the ABEYTA line. I do have collection of matrimonial investigations also done by Angélico Chávez. This is essentially a collection of marriage records coming down to 1869 but far from complete. At present I also have the index to Albuquerque Church records as well as the 1726-1855 marriage records. On all my lines, I have a good 120 year gap after the Chávez book. Two marriages in Albuquerque in the lines that I am researching are: 1 March 1834 Juan Cristobal Muñiz (25) son of Jose Maria Muñiz and Barbara Zamora both deceased with Ana Maria Pacheco(16) dau of Geronomo Pacheco and Pascuala Sanchez. Ana Maria seems to have gone both by the surname Pacheco and Sanchez. 2 April 1839 Bernado Valencia (21) son of deceased Domingo Valencia and Da. Paula Martinez with Da. Ana Maria Aragon (16) dau of Don Juan Tomas Aragon and Da. Gertradis Garcia. These individuals were eventually in Anton Chico in (then) San Miguel Co. How do you make progress further back?
