    3. Hi, The way things are going, I will be researching all the New Mexican surnames of Spanish origin. Cipriano LUJAN (b 1867) with wife Miguelita MARTINEZ moved to Sabinosa, San Miguel Co, NM by 1900. By 1920, some family members lived and attended church in Roy. I have the LUJAN line back to a Juan LUJAN (b1818) residing in Rincon del Tecolote, San Miguel Co, NM (location unknown to me) By 1910 Vivian BACA was to CaƱon Largo, near Sabinosa. I have BACA line I have back to a Toribio BACA (b 1786) with wife Maria Marta ULIBARRI. They resided in San Jose, San Miguel Co, NM in 1860. Other female surnames connected to the BACA line are MONTOYA and ARAGON. One research aid that I have available here at the LDS Family History Center is the 11 microfiche set of records of Pre-nuptial Investigations (1678-1869) of the various churches of the Archdiocese of Santa Fe extracted by Angelico Chavez. Unfortunately many of the original records have been lost, particularly for Santa Fe. The entries are by Surname and then by wedding date. The parents of the couple are listed. If you have a nearby LDS Family History Center it can be ordered for use there. Given a complete name, approximate date, and if I am not overwhelmed by requests, I am willing to do look ups.
