    3. A wonderful internet URL (which I can't give you) is the US Geological Service's Geographic Names Information System (GNIS). Search for it with your browser - I get it on Internet Explorer, but I don't see its URL displayed. Anyway, GNIS showed that Spindle NM was in Lincoln County, about 22 miles NE of Capitan. GNIS further showed that Spindle had a post office from 1917 to 1920, but also said that its latitude and longitude was not known. From the latter I assume it has completely disappeared from view. I do know that my State Farm Insurance road atlas does not show it. Regards, Fritz ----- Original Message ----- From: Elizabeth E.
