Hello all- Well I am early in my searches. So I will give you all information I have. I am originally from NM, and was born in Grants and lived there until 1984. My father's family was from Grants. The families name is Campbell, my grandfather was Robert A. Campbell SR. I know that he owned a gas station along old Route 66, and they own the house on the hill above the High school on Warren. The house is suppose to be some sort of historical marker. This is all I know about him and his family, I know he's from Arkansas but don't know any dates of when he moved there or where they moved from. My mother's side of the family is also from NM. My grandparents on her side lived in Bosque Farms. My aunts lived in Edgewood until 1983 or so....and then moved to Tucumcari where they still reside with my grandfather and his brothers. This side of the families name is Watson. My grandfather is Hubert Doyle Watson, and my aunts name is Beiger, so Patricia Hall you might know her, because she lived in Edgewood for years, and my cousins went to school in Moriarity and graduated from High School in the early 1980's. These are my ties to NM.....I am very young and learning alot about the state I remember only from childhood.....and people here in TX do not know what a real soapapilla is...or even a stuffed one..... I miss going to Stuffy's for lunch in Albuquerque.
