Hello list, Here are my connections to the wonderful "Land of Enchantment": My g-grandparents and also g-g-grandparents lived in several area of New Mexico in the 1800's and early 1900's. They lived in Catskill, Las Vegas, Mayhill and other small towns. Their last names were GRAY and ALDRICH. As for me, I have lived in Las Cruces (ex-hubby was born and raised there), and also Roswell (no, I'm not an alien). LOL. I work as a Fire/Aircraft Dispatcher fot the USFS and BLM, and worked for the BLM in Roswell. I really miss the friendly people, the Christmas Eve Electrical Parade, going down the Pecos River during christmas time to see all the wonderful lights, and most of all I miss the smell of green chilies being roasted in the large "roasters" that spin around and around.
