Hi, I just joined this list and am enjoying the postings so far on the "land of enchantment". I have a number of lines that I have traced back to my ancestors arriving in New Mexico about 1598. Several came with Onate and I am very proud of my heritage. My Mother's family arrived "late" into New Mexico in 1908 into Roy, Harding County, New Mexico. I live in Sandia Park, New Mexico, in the Sandia Mountains east of Albuquerque. I spend way too much time at our special collections library here and usually "lunch" at the FHC just blocks from my jobs. If I can do any lookups in New Mexico for anyone, I would be delighted. Next weekend we are celebrating Founders Day in Albuquerque (Alburquerque).........294 years old! Patryka Tachick gtachick@msn.com ----- Original Message ----- From: "Elizabeth E.
