Porter, b Ireland, son of Thomas and Nancy Porter, who married Maria Lucinda Weaver (Ybabr, Guivar, Bibar) 29 Dec 1849 in St. Francis Parish and Our Lady of Light (La Castrensa), Santa Fe. She was dau of Pauline (probably Powell) and Maria Dolores (Martin) Weaver. When did Carlos Porter come from Ireland? Where in Ireland? What was he doing in New Mexico? Was he in the military?
