Hi Elizabeth. I don't know if this will help you or not, but my family, also cattle folk, lived in Lampasa, Gonzales & Hamilton TX. They then went to Nm, mostly the Lincoln Co, NM area. Due to water shortages, some of my family then went on to Pima/Ft. Huachuca, AZ area. Family names: McFARLAND, BARTELL, HENRY, O'NEAL. Hope that helps. Blessings, Donna MAY-CRETE "Elizabeth E. I have studied maps of TX and NM (unfortunately I do not have any for 1900-1910) in an effort determine what might have been the migration route. One daughter was married circa 1906 between Haskell County, TX and Lincoln County, NM prior to the 1910 census. The grandfather died somewhere along the way. It appears I need to search several counties, but first I would like some input as to a possible migration route. > > Any information or thoughts would be so appreciated. > > Liz Freeman > > ==== NEW-MEXICO Mailing List ==== > NEW-MEXICO-L@rootsweb.com > LIST ADM.
