    1. NM lookup: BAIL
    2. Balbina Garza
    3. Does anybody own any of these books that would kindly do a lookup for me? "Origins of New Mexico Families," by Fray Angelico Chavez. "The Place Names of New Mexico", by Robert Julyan "New Mexico Hispanic Families of the Rio Grade Valley," by Carlos Lopopolo. I´m having a lot of trouble finding information on Alice and Sofia BAIL from Silver City, NM. All I know is that Sofia was born in 1906 and her mother Alice worked at the offices of a silver mine where she met Policarpo MARTINEZ, her future husband. Policarpo´s parents were Jose Felipe de Jesús MARTINEZ and María Nemencia RAMIREZ (both born in Mier, Tamps, MX) Thanks Balbina Garza

    1. Thomas Jefferson "Jeff" Ground of TX, NM?
    2. Looking for descendants of Thomas Jefferson "Jeff" Ground Jr., who lived in Texas and later in New Mexico. In the 1890's, he was living in San Miguel County, NM. He was born in the mid 1800's in Kentucky or Texas. His parents may have been Thomas Jefferson Ground Sr. and Eliza Ground. I'm researching the history of Hulltown (later Moran), Shackelford County, Texas. T. J. Ground Jr. was the town's second postmaster, appointed in 1884, and was one of the town's earliest settlers. When streets were named in the 1880's, one was named Ground St. in his honor. I would like to find out if the T. J. Ground Jr. Family has any information on the early years of the town, possibly documents, photos, etc. If anyone knows the whereabouts of any descendants of T. J. Ground Jr., I would appreciate hearing from you. Thank you. Duston Brooks
