You guys wouldn't believe the amount of email's I've received today about Broderbund sending out CD's for us to send them our gedcoms! I'm just glad to here that you HAVEN'T!!! And sorry for the idiots how have! Don't want to start a debate with those who have sent their's in, but I sure hope you people regret it and will pass the word to others, NOT TO! It's a dam shame how one person can submit data, that can really invade the privacy of another. And Broderbund lets it happen!!! How many sites have they sent their web spiders out to trying to gather more...stolen data for their cd's? I know they hit rootsweb many times giving them major problems! And gee, if you go to their Family Tree Maker site, and do a search for some of my unique family surnames, they come up on their site, because they happen to be listed in my Personal Genealogy site! So that only tells me that they've hit my server with their spiders! Gee...and the poor, no internet people out there buy the cd's not knowing that the company is a bunch of theives and they can find much of the same data online for FREE!!!!
