I have just added a category on Surname Site to add a link directly to message boards, and would like to invite you to add a link to your message board. This will give a central place to find message boards. If you have a surname or regional message board on your site, you can add a link to it from here: http://surnamesite.com/cgi2/cgi/add.cgi You can view my site here: A Surname Site http://surnamesite.com contains a database of around 1,000 links to sites that contain names. I do have one suggestion Chris, try your local library, they have old city directories and old phone books. Marilyn Chris Odonnell wrote: > Hi. I'm looking for old phone records from 1960. Some of the larger libraries have the telephone records on microfiche. Ask your larger genealogical libraries, that are state owned. Th cover the Us if you find them. Sutro Library on the Outskirts of San Francisco, Ca., has them. I would volunteer, but I am 55 miles away. Betty
Hi. I'm looking for old phone records from 1960. Does anyone know where to find them? I have already tried the actual phone company but they do not keep old records. Thanks! Chris O'Donnell
Thank you Barbara, I still could not use the index one but could utilize the usa one. When I clicked on a state with the the first two, nothing happened. Sorry I was such a bother.
