Hello, Anyone who has an interest in railroads might like to watch a brand-new documentary about "the Orient Express." I woke up very early this morning and got to watch the second half of Masterpiece Mystery with "Hercule Poirot." (I love mysteries.)* Right after that movie ended, a documentary started: "David Suchet: Orient Express." The actor who portrays "Poirot" decided he wanted to go on the present "Orient Express" and make a documentary about the entire ride ! They are just mentioning that it was one day where the train was stuck in a snowbank for 10 days - which became the topic for an Agatha Christie mystery book. At the moment they are showing old film about when the train was used during "Hitler's time." And David is riding on an entirely refurbished - and beautiful - set of train cars. It's a PBS special and I'm watching it on Ch. 11 (NH). Betty (near Lowell, MA) * It's a good thing I love mysteries. In my case, genealogy is all about solving mysteries ! I have brick-walls, concrete-block walls, and concrete-block walls put together with reinforced cement on my family-tree.
