Hello, For those of you who have an interest in Lexington, MA, they are celebrating their 300th anniversary this year. http://www.lexingtonma.gov/ http://www.lexington300.org/ (Parade - today) Lexington was first settled circa 1642[ as part of Cambridge, Massachusetts. What is now Lexington was then incorporated as a parish, called Cambridge Farms, in 1691. This allowed them to have a separate church and minister, but were still under jurisdiction of the Town of Cambridge. Lexington was incorporated as a separate town in 1713. It was then that it got the name Lexington http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lexington,_Massachusetts http://lhsoc.weebly.com/ (Lexington Historical Society) .. And, don't forget that in at least 2 states .... tomorrow is "Patriot's Day" where parades and other activities are going on. Including the events in Concord, MA: http://concordchamberofcommerce.org/ (Maine is the other state, and I can't remember the other one at the moment.)
