Hi Carol, Many public libraries in Massachusetts (and other states, I would guess) will look up directory information and send it to you. Some do it for free and some ask for a small donation. You can use Google to search for the public library in the towns that are of interest to you. Most have an email address to contact the Reference Librarian directly. Search their web sites to see what their town history or genealogical holdings are that they have, first, if you can.
