I have added a New England Irish Surname Registry to my website. If will include all the states covered by our mailing list (NH, VT, MA, RI and CT) plus ME. Because there is another Rootsweb list covering the Maine Irish, it couldn't be included for the list but since it logically belongs within the sphere of our discussion, I have included the state for the Surname Registry. Go down the webpage to near the bottom and under New-England-Irish Links, you will find a link to the registry. If you are wondering if it is worth your time to submit a name, I can only relate that I have been personally contacted by cousins I have never met through the various registries and message boards where I have entered family data.
