    3. Am I correct in the fact that the Londonderry people were Scots-Irish? One of my great grandfathers was one who came here in early 1700 with other Presbyterian Congregations. He was a Rev. _____(?) Hopkins, don't know his first name. He came with his congregation and his daughter Esther was born here in NH. Esther married James Thompson whose father James (or Jason) was also a Presbyterian Minister. I thought they might have come with Rev. McGregor but I can't prove any of it. I'd love to hear from anyone who might help me with this family. James and Esther's son Samuel Thompson was born in 1749 in NH and served in the Rev. War and is buried in Orleans Co NY, died 18 Dec.1839. Thanks a million.
