I was told by a fellow genealogist that he had an old letter which stated that Benjamin's wife's name was Elizabeth. It questioned the fact that John was the father of Benjamin and said that he believed that the father's name was William. Has anyone else heard of this or have any idea where to start looking for verification? The migration pattern, and the names of the children strongly suggest that there is a connection to the same family; although it may be a cousin, uncle, etc. instead of a father/son relationship.
