Researchers of this line have been guilty of more than a few "extrapolations" over the years (There is NO WAY Eve died in 1828!) and so, not entirely without trepidation on my part, some "refinements" have been made, but, hey, I live here. This really doesn't answer questions relating to "surname associations", NEVILLS/SWAZIE, NEVILLS/DAVIS, DAVIS/GREEN, WARNER/OSTRANDER, NEVILLS/FORTNER, and a whole bunch more. Friends, bondsmen, attorneys, witnesses, next-door neighbours, fellow churchmembers, previous and subsequent landowners - these are the people that don't get accounted for on Family Group sheets. And yet, in our pursuit of the next earlier generation THESE are the one's we need to get to know. A tantalizing connundrum - Why was James & Eve's son, William Pew, taking off in 1849 from his home in Binbrook (where 3 of his children were to die of diptheria that November) to Mt. Brydges (10 miles west of London and 130 miles away) when the only Nevills living in that village, Ms Cornelia Nevills, an elderly woman, is someone whom none of us claim as an ancestor? Why did Pamela let her husband be buried down there? Who paid for his headstone? Who were the young wards of Cornelia, the Schedgell children? (These children may provide a link to the other Ontario NEVILLS branch I alluded to in an earlier post.) Ain't this fun?!!
