Ruth, I don't know anything about this NC family, but there are two possible previous generations in the census. First, Zachariah is living next door to Richard (47) & Sarah (47) Nevill, who are of an age they could be his parents, & living with him is Lydia Nevill (75) who is of an age she could be a grandmother. From the births of Zachariah's children it appears they moved from NC to TN between 1844 and 1848.
