Yes, I've read the same thing in literature about Clan Dunbar. If anyone wishes to participate in the Scottish games, etc., they would be eligible according to this group. All you'd have to do is provide a link between yourself and the surname of Nevill. They do not request documentation--just your word, from what I understand. And of course no one of the U.S. Nevilles (at least the ones mentioned in books of Joseph B. Neville, Ivan Neville, Mrs. John Hart Wilson, etc.) cannot trace back lineally to any of the Nevilles in Great Britain or Ireland. But this is not a requirement to belong to Clan Dunbar. All you have to do is link back to the surname of Nevill itself. You don't have to prove all the way back to Gospatric the Earl.
