Paul, I was very interested in reading about your Schoharie County connection as my ggf is buried in Argusville, a small town in the northern part of the county. My gf and father were raised in that area (Schoharie and Montgomery counties) along with his three brothers. You mentioned the Huegenot connection/intermixing and I think I can offer a concrete example of your premise as my ggf John Nevill (b: 8/8/1811) married Julia Grantier, a surname and line about which I can find nothing, by the way.
