Jean Scarlett: Thanks for your Gower post. I'm going to have to dig out the Gower file later today and get back to you tonight on this. I'm especially interested in Abel Gower who was the grandfather of Dennis Gower. The Gowers are flirting around the Randolphs and Ishams. It is interesting to see how the Gower line merges with the Nevilles line. Here's what I think I notice and maybe Ren was looking, too, and that is I don't see any Presleys upstream in this line. For some time we have been kicking around the topic of Presleys in the various Nevilles lines and wondering why they turn up in so many of the different lines. Maybe it is a semi-popular name, maybe they are naming after a famous Neville--Presley of the Revolution. Part of what brought this up is the my Solomon Neville line is very chummy with the George Nevill line in Montgomery Co., TN. The thought is that they may be related in some way that they knew about, but we do not. Kathy
