We are not all descended from Joseph Neville.....yet. I am working on it, though. Any one out there have information on Granderson Dandridge Nevill b. 1812 in NC d. aft. 1880, probably in Texas? Lived in Montgomery Co., TN; Dickson Co., TN, Bowie Co., TX, Titus Co., TX, Crawford Co., AR, and probably Scott Co., AR. He had four known wives: 1. Minerva Peterson (she married 2. Meredith Howard); 2. Martha E. (she divorced him in 1845. Did she remarry? Where'd she go? She's mine. She had 3 or 6 Nevill children. She might be the Martha E. Nevels who is on the 1850 Tishmingo Co., MS census with children Anderson D., Susan P., and William D.); 3. Annette Nevill descendant of George Nevill of Montgomery Co., TN (she married 2. Phillip Crotzer and had two Nevill children); 4. Caroline E. (maiden name unkown. She is his widow, living in Crawford Co., AR abt. 1880-1900). There were probably lots of other wives and children. Anything look familiar to anyone. I know, I know, some of you have seen this too many times already!! The elusive Granderson was the son of Solomon and Susanna (Walton) Nevill. Kathy
