Your notes do make a case for them perhaps being the same families in the records you cited. If you didn't file the following note from Barbara Jensen in Dec., you might want to now. She found a North Carolina ref. to Richard Nowell in the same area where James and Dorothy Nevill showed up in the late 1600s (Bath/Beaufort Co., NC area). Other Nevills coming to NC with James and Dorothy included Richard. As you know, we have discussed James and Dorothy perhaps being the same two people of that name up in Northampton Co., VA (across the water from Somerset Co., MD) but have found no hard evidence to support the idea yet. Shirley established that James of Norhampton Co., VA was probably the son of Richard Nevell imported by Randall Revell.
