What an interesting coincidence. We live in O'Fallon, IL and my Neville roots trace back to upstate New York. Johnstown, Rochester, Argusville, Amsterdam. I have been monitoring this newsgroup for two years looking for New York connected Nevilles, but until this posting nothing. I even asked a subscriber who claimed New York roots, but got nothing except certainty that we were not related. I had finally concluded my ggf was entirely alone there, now, perhaps not. Nevertheless, I had no knowledge there were Nevilles here in little O'Fallon (pop 24,000). There are some Nevilles living in Belleville and the surrounding area and apparently have been for some time. One is a rather prominent attorney.
