I just want to report, that I did NOT find what I was looking for!? I got the death certificate of Enoch Neavill Jr.......son of Enoch & Laura Pugh Neavill........grandson of George D. Neavill. * Enoch Neavill Jr. Born Oct 27, 1847 and died Jan 28, 1925. I was hoping to get the birthplace of Enoch Sr. but I think the informant did not know?? The informant looks like C.E. Green, a nephew of Enoch JR. He said Enoch Sr. was born in MO. That doesn't fit with anything. CE Green's father was born in MO. And Enoch SR was there 1834-35. But I am sure Enoch Sr. was not born in MO. He had to be born in either AL or KY? Enoch Sr did appear to die before 1860. Unless he took off and left his family in IL? So maybe 65 years later, a nephew did not know his birthplace? Whoa is me. Maybe there were some Neavill relations still in MO in 1925?? I did not find any of Enoch Sr's other children alive after 1916, when death certificates were required. ____ Barbara McNamer
