I have wondered if this John and Alexander were not sons of my ggg grandfather, Enoch NEAVILLE, who lived in Wayne County, Kentucky, and later Wayne County, Illinois. Alexander had a son named Enoch as well as a daughter named Esiline. These "E" names fit nicely with your information. Another family with lots of "E' names was that of George NEAVILLE who lived in Wayne County, Kentucky; Alamaba; as well as Effingham County, Illinois. George was probably the brother of my ggg grandfather, Enoch. George had children named Enoch, Elijah, Elisha and Elihu.
