Nevels (Nevill) in Dallas Co., AR, around 1842. She died; don't know about him. Children William and Candis moved to Ashley Co., AR with grandparents in 1867; at least, Candis did; not sure about William. Any connection? Candis's name is spelled many ways, including Navals. Nevels in Dallas County, Ar. Typo on my part. It was June 15, 1852, not '42. So he should be on a census with his family in 1850, probably. I don't have access to that census at the moment.
