Barbara, Thank you for your interesting information. Presley Nevill Martin, b. 1715, is a new name to me. It sounds like he might have a connection with the Isle of Wight, VA Nevilles. The Beales/Bell were often found in records with the Nevilles in that area, as well as in Granville/Orange/Halifax County, NC. In yesterday's post, I left off the name of another Nevill who is said to be a brother of those I listed. Joseph Nevill, Jr. is supposed to have moved from Fauquier Co., VA, to Hardy/Hampshire Co., VA. At least one of his children migrated to the South. Joseph also had a son named George and one named Presley, so it might help you to look at a list of his descendants. Do you have a copy of A 370-YEAR HISTORY OF ONE NEVILLE FAMILY?
