We can't even prove all of Joseph's children. I have never found a document that prooves that my William was Joseph's son for instance. However because of various factors it seems likely. By the way, I did a DAR supplemental on William Neville years ago. I proved his actual service. One person prior to me had used him showing patriotic service. Actually they had submitted service for the Fr. & Indian War, which of course does not qualify. Someone at headquarters had found the patriotic service, not knowing that he served in both wars.
