Rey & Jan: The mention of Perth Amboy in Jan's posting below rang a bell, so I did a littl digging. "Jan's John" Nevel, born in Amboy ca.1752, m. Mary may be son or grandson of the "John Nevil of Perth Amboy, gent" listed below. There was also a Samuel Nevil kicking around that neck of the woods. Tract of land in New Brunswick, Middlesex New Jersey will be sold at Widow Baldwin's in New Brunswick; enquire of John Deare, Esq.
