George, The 1783 grant of 1000 acres to John Neville in Jefferson Co., KY is listed in Old KY Entries and Deeds by Willard Rouse Jillson (originally pub. 1926). According to p9 of the foreword these records are in the custody of the Jefferson Co. Court Clerk in Louisville. It would also be wise to check the deeds to see what he did with the land & if there are other clues for your research. The tax records might also help pinpoint his movements.
