Esther Camille Nevil, 91, of 27 West Locust Ave. in McKenzie, a former resident of Troy, was pronounced dead on arrival at 5:30 a.m. April 10, 1999, at Methodist Hospital in McKenzie. Services were set for 2 p.m. today at White & Mahon Funeral Home chapel in Troy, with the Rev. Bobby Barnett officiating. Burial was to follow in Terrace Hill Cemetery in Troy. Pallbearers were to be John Brimm, Dusty Carroll and Steve Jones. She was born July 1, 1907, in Hickman, Ky., daughter of the late Arista and Eunice (Dockins) Jackson. She married Early Brown Nevil Aug. 20, 1948. He died Nov. 20, 1985. She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church in Hickman. Survivors include a sister, Bethany Elks of Franklin; a brother, Chester Jackson of Union City; and several nieces and nephews.
