Jan, The information I have is from a cousin here is has been doing research. She sent me the information with a note: "With the info about John Nevil (1612-1664) I was able to piece a lot of info together from the Nevil Newsletter at Dallas Public LIbrary". So it seems that she may just be going by what has already been published. Do you feel, or is there some reason to suspect, that the linking information is flawed? I do not know where the C. or Cornelius came from. Another local cousin sent a family group sheet from what she had researched and it listed Thomas' middle initial as C. I have a copy of the book "The Neville Family Of England And The United States", by John Hart Wilson. It certainly does not list a Thomas Nevil, or Thomas C. Nevil. I will check with my local cousins to see what their sources of information were. However I'm sure that they have not found anything new. I suspect that they are just following the paths that you have already been down.
