Peter, The following was a mistake in my previous message on Neville/Noble of West Chester, MD: A comment on James Neville who arrived on the Griffith: He may be the same James Nevill of Fenwick's colony in West Salem, NJ. I should have stated NEW SALEM, WEST JERSEY, not West Salem, NJ. The records I cited are from pre-New Jersey days. I am not sure if this area finally fell into Pennsylvainia or New Jersey. (William Penn was one of the proprietors of West Salem.)
